SHOCKING: Hillary Clinton’s Trip to India Sends Her to the ER
Despite suffering a huge loss in 2016 presidential elections, Hillary Clinton’s bad days are far from being over. The former candidate was reportedly having the time of her life in India’s Hindola Mahal, shopping, sightseeing, and spending time with friends, when a series of unfortunate events led her straight to the emergency room.
An Eventful Trip
On Tuesday, reports emerged that the former Secretary of State had suffered a serious injury in her holiday home in Jodhpur and had requested medical assistance from a team of doctors. The reports were confirmed by an anonymous doctor who said that 70-year-old Clinton was brought to the Goyal Hospital at 5 in the morning after she complained of severe wrist pain.
After being transported to the hospital, she was administered with an X-Ray and a CT Scan which revealed that the famed politician had indeed fractured her right wrist.
The incident occurred while Clinton was staying at her residence in Jodhpur called the Hindola Mahal and members from the politician’s team called up the hospital at the crack of dawn to request a house visit. Doctors from the United States were also consulted over the phone but Clinton was assured that she had only suffered from a minor hairline fracture which would heal quickly with plenty of rest. No one from Hillary’s team has come forth with a comment despite being contacted by several sources.
The 70-year-old is currently resting at her Jodhpur residence as advised by the doctors. Anand Goyal, the owner of Goyal Hospital, where Clinton sought treatment, revealed in a statement to Deccan Herald publication that the hotel staff from Hindola Mahal had requested for a team of doctors and bandages for the politician’s wrist on Tuesday after she complained that the pain had progressively worsened overnight.
Clumsy Hillary
Apparently, the cause of her wrist fracture was a slip and fall accident in the bathtub which had sent the fragile politician crashing to the ground and injuring her hand in the process. An employee at the hotel where Clinton was staying revealed that the former Secretary of State had to cancel several important trips in her itinerary including her visit to Mehrangarh Museum’s historic fort, located in Jodhpur, due to the incident.
Clinton’s trip to India hasn’t been running as smoothly as she had anticipated. Prior to her wrist injury, the 70-year-old was captured taking a tumble (or two) down the steps of Palace Jahaz Mahal in Indian city Mandu. In the footage, she slipped once while descending the stairs of the famous mosque which almost sent her reeling backwards, but thanks to a kind gentleman, she regained her balance quickly. Clinton had only managed to take two more steps when she slipped yet again. She finally took off her shoes and made it down the stairs in one piece.
A History of Health Conditions
This isn’t the first time Hillary Clinton’s health troubles have hit the news. Back in December 2012, the former presidential candidate fainted in her Washington home and suffered from a concussion. A statement released by the State Department explained that she had been sick from a stomach bug and has lost consciousness due to dehydration.
In 2013, she wound up in the hospital once again after the doctors found a life-threating blood clot in her brain due to the concussion she had suffered from the previous year. Clinton spent weeks in New York Presbyterian Hospital where she was treated with blood thinners and fluids to help her recover. In her delicate condition, the democrat had to testify before the congress, wearing dark eye glasses, about the Benghazi attack in Libya.
In 2016, concerns rose about Hillary’s health after collapsed outside the 9/11 memorial in Manhattan, but her team quickly brushed off the incident blaming the politician’s clumsiness on her pneumonia.
Clinton’s recent trip to India has sparked criticism back home after she was found telling the audience that she had lost the elections because women were pressured to vote like the men in their social circle. Trump’s aide Kellyanne Conway was quick to fire back at Clinton by saying that her words were an insult to the American voters.
