Participants Need to Drink At Least 4 Cups Everyday
A group of European researchers conducted a study with over 20,000 people and tracked their health for more than 10 years to get detailed results. Most of the participant’s age is 37, from the date they started the project for the past 10 years. The study revealed that only around 337 out of 20,000 participants died during the time frame. They also reviewed how many cups do each participant consume as well as its correlation to death.
Here are the results and findings of the said study:
- The participants who drink at least 4 cups every day had lowered their mortality risk by 64%. Most of the participants drinking coffee have longer longevity than those people who never consumed coffee at all.
- And for every 2 additional cups, they drink (for example, 6 or 8 cups per day), they also tend to increase their longevity by 22% than those who consume 4 cups every day.
- These findings greatly benefited the older people. The participants aging between 45 and above had lowered their risk of death by drinking an additional cup every day.
The Scientist reiterated that there’s a stunning health benefit from drinking this morning beverage each day.
Does This New Study Helps Make or Break the $1,000 Starbucks Habit?
If you’re a huge lover of this morning beverage, you’re probably familiar with a $1,000 habit. But for those who didn’t know, it’s a kind of habit where a coffee lover would normally spend around $1000 a month or so just by drinking their favorite beverage. This new study sincerely reinforces the habits of coffee drinking lovers. Not only that, but researchers from other parts of the world also claim that there is the correlation between drinking this beverage and better heart health.
However, there’s an underlying issue if we choose to believe and follow the study. For one, just buying 1 cup of this beverage can be expensive, especially if you buy it from branded coffee shops like Starbucks. Let alone 4 cups, not everyone can buy that. Moreover, drinking 4 cups of beverage every day when you haven’t done that in the past can be tiring for your body. You might also risk heart palpitation and insomnia because you’re not used to the effects of drinking this morning beverage.
